Sid founded Moonbow Tech LLC to help universities strengthen the institutional systems that consistently develop and advance competitive research opportunities.
His work integrates systems engineering, technology roadmapping, artificial intelligence, strategic planning, academic research, business development, and federal research engagement into practical frameworks for research enterprise development.
Across nearly two decades in engineering education, Sid served as a tenured professor, inaugural endowed chair, and engineering department head. His teaching was recognized with the IEEE-HKN C. Holmes MacDonald Outstanding Teaching Award, Colorado State University’s student-selected Best ECE Professor–Excellence in Teaching Award, and two IEEE PES T. Burke Hayes Faculty Recognition Awards.
